Funds from Anglican Missions for the House of Sarah in 2020 was NZ$30,000 and used as follows:
- For the Sarah Carers who are the first respondents for women in vulnerable situations in parishes. In 2019 seven Sarah Carers were commissioned in Vanua Levu, Suva and Ovalau. A total of 30 clients were seen by them and referred. In 2020 the ten women who completed their training in Nov 2019 will be commissioned. In 2020 the Sarah Carers came together for a planning workshop and a refresher course on skills to upgrade what they know already and to learn some new things, e.g. Guidelines for the Dauveivukei Network (ecumenical counselling support).
- For the Christian Talanoa Network (CTN) who coordinates the production of liturgical resources and information for the annual Break the Silence Sunday and 16 Days of Activism.
- For the Women of Faith work, which is a multi-faith group working together in the elimination of violence against women and children.
The Sarah Carers are all volunteers and are often the first responders in the help sought from women in need.
